Myles is a passionate musicians and teacher having graduated from Newcastle University in 2019. Myles is has 14 years experience playing and performing in and around the North West.
Having had lessons from various musicians, Myles is confident in sharing his knowledge and expertise. Whether your interest lies in learning guitar at your own pace, following an exam syllabus or are working towards a future career in music, Myles can tailor lessons accordingly. Lessons could include a focus on song-writing techniques, reading tablature or notation, learning to play chords across the fret-board and gaining an understanding of important elements and techniques that define certain genres or styles.
Myles has performed as part of acoustic duos and bands in a number of different settings and venues in and around England such as the Sage Gateshead in Newcastle and others. He has a strong interest in song-writing and has had the chance to co-write a song which was played on BBC Introducing Lancashire.

Eleni Georgiou is a passionate singer, pianist and teacher having recently completed a Masters in Popular Music with a distinction at the Royal Northern College of Music specializing in Performance & Pedagogy. Prior to this, Eleni had acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Music at Newcastle University where she studied Classical Piano & Contemporary Singing. Growing up in Cyprus, Eleni earned Grade 8 qualifications in piano, theory (ABRSM) and singing (Rockschool).
Some of her performance experiences include having performed alongside American composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and former member of Earth Wind & Fire, Mo Pleasure. Eleni has also had the chance to perform with various vocal ensembles, bands & orchestras in Cyprus and within the UK. Some of these include having performed the works of Errollyn Wallen at the Wigmore Hall in London, providing an opening performance for a TEDx conference, performing at the Sage Gateshead in Newcastle and opening for former Eurovision contestant Hovig in one of his shows in Cyprus. Eleni has taught at various highly-established academies and performing arts schools around Greater Manchester and is eager to pass on her knowledge and experience to prospective students of any age and ability.

Leah has recently graduated with a 1st from the Royal Northern College of Music and is now furthering her studies at the Northern following a scholarship for a Masters in Music Performance. As a young flautist, Leah was the principal flautist of her youth orchestra (Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra) in London and during this time was also a scholar at the World Heart Beat Music Academy where she was sponsored by Gucci Timepieces and Jewellery.
She has been taught by Cormac Henry, principal flautist of the RLPO for several years and has performed alongside him on the piccolo. Leah has a particular specialism for the piccolo and is the first flautist in any UK conservatoire to have a 50/50 split of lessons between flute and piccolo. She is taught the piccolo by Jenny Hutchinson (BBC Philharmonic) and Janet Richardson (Royal Scottish National Orchestra).
Leah’s teaching style focuses on ensuring a positive and safe environment where her students feel relaxed, happy, encouraged and therefore able to achieve their very best. In the past, she has successfully taken her pupils through graded exams and helped them to develop a love for the flute as well as achieving high marks. It is very important to Leah that her students come out of their lessons not only feeling clear about what they should do in their practice time but also feeling excited about it!

Ollie is a professional bassist originally from the north-east of England and now based in Manchester where, In 2023, he graduated with a first class undergraduate degree in Popular Music from the Royal Northern College of Music. He is passionate about the bass guitar and its foundational role in popular music from the 1950s right up to the present day. Able to cover a broad range of contemporary genres in depth, he is keen to facilitate learning by studying the type of music the student loves, whilst also broadening abilities by introducing students to styles and genres perhaps less familiar to them. Recognising the importance of music theory, technique, time-feel and reading, Ollie is keen to explore these topics primarily within the context of songs, as he believes this is the most effective and enjoyable way of tackling what can often be challenging topics.
Ollie has a broad range of professional experience. In his role as the bassist for singer-songwriter Bonnie Kemplay, he has performed at venues across the country, including support slots for high-profiles acts such as Adele (Hyde Park BST, 2022) and Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers (Shepherd’s Bush Empire, 2022). Most recently, he toured with Bonnie as the support act for The 1975’s 16-date UK arena tour, including 2 sold out shows at London’s 02 Arena. He also has extensive festival experience, and regularly gigs with working bands weddings and events across the north-west of England.

Jessica Holding is a violist from Liverpool, currently training at the Royal Northern College of Music with Cecily Ward. She is a multi-instrumentalist who works in various areas within the Classical, Pop and the Educational industry. Some current employers include: The ELO Show, Only Child, Echo Strings Quartet, SeaShell Trust and Sefton Music Service. Alongside studying Jess is an established freelance musician playing in/formal events throughout the year; Weddings, musical theatre pits, conferences, recording studios, funerals and schools. From 2016, Jess led 2 orchestras: Sefton Music Service String Orchestra who toured to Belgium playing at Menin Gate celebrating the 100 years of Ypres and the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. With the LPYO company Jess got to play alongside/under amazing musicians such as: Pacho Flores, Sheku-Kanneh-Mason, Elena Urioste, James Ehnes, Katie Chatburn, Andrew Manze, Vasily Petrenko and participating in a masterclass with Ray Chen. After running sectionals successfully Jess began teaching for Aintree School Of Music and then later as a Wider Opportunity string tutor for Sefton Music Service. Her passion for education and outreach has grown over the years and is showcased through her current work as a music assistant for one of Manchesters leading SEND schools The SeaShell Trust. She has also been awarded the Creative Music Resident 2023 for a SENDs outreach company Jessies Fund. Jess’s performance and teaching expertise have also been consulted to review pieces comprised for a new Popular violin graded course for the Rockschool exam board, which was newly released this year. With her teaching style being open, flexible and creative she understands that everyone is unique and approaches learning differently. She believes her role as a teacher is to help diagnose and remove barriers the students might have, whilst ensuring lessons are fun and inspiring.

Ethan Gillespie is a British pianist, composer and arranger currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He began his studies at the City of Edinburgh Music School under the tutelage of Simon Coverdale and was awarded the school’s prestigious Hope-Scott Trust Award for Music upon graduation. While at the school, composition played a key role in his musical development with him notably writing an elegy in memory of the renowned Scottish musician, and former pupil of the school, Martyn Bennett. In September 2019, Ethan began his undergraduate studies at the RNCM in the class of Richard Ormrod and was awarded the Shirley Cattarall Award for Piano upon completion of his first year of study. He went on to win the college’s Concerto Competition in 2022 performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23. Ethan enjoys performing an eclectic mix of musical styles and frequently collaborates with other instrumentalists and singers in both solo and ensemble settings.

Jack studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (2012 - 2015). Since graduating, he has toured across the UK, Europe & Asia playing everywhere from intimate venues to sold out arenas. As a result of this, Jack has gained years of valuable experience accompanying bands of various styles & genres.
In addition to his proficiency in live work, Jack has also had his fair share of studio sessions.
He has had the pleasure of recording with some great producers such as Dan Lancaster (Blink 182, 5 Seconds of Summer, Bring Me The Horizon) & James Bragg (Ben Howard, Gengahr) who's critique have both sharpened his efficiency & enhanced his creativity within the studio.
Jack has also recently graduated from The Royal Northern College of Music with a Masters degree in Popular Music.
Further, Jack has a breadth of teaching experience, including delivering lessons to bigger classes as well as one on one tuition. His lessons always aim to cater to the goals and aspirations of each individual student.
Jack is passionate about passing on the breadth of knowledge he has obtained from 12 years of playing and learning from some of the most proficient and successful drummers in the UK to his future students.

James picked up the saxophone when he was just 10 years old after trying it at a music workshop. He instantly found an affinity for the instrument. After progressing through his graded exams, he began playing in orchestras/bands and had the chance to perform in highly acclaimed venues such as The Royal Albert Hall in London. Throughout his time at university, James has taught and performed in a variety of settings. Furthermore, he has toured across the country with his up-and-coming 8 piece band, Ronald Raygun.
He is now involved in a various live and in-studio musical projects across Manchester. His performance styles range from jazz to psychedelic groove and experimental acoustic folk. He takes pride in his helping his students express themselves through music and develop confidence in their playing.

Misha completed his undergraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, studying classical piano under Paul Janes - graduating with First Class Honours. Misha first began learning piano from YouTube videos and soon after began formal piano lessons and grade exams. At the age of 16 Misha was accepted into the RNCM junior school which helped him develop further as a young musician. At the Junior RNCM Misha was the recipient of the ‘Fergal O'Mahony prize' with a performance opportunity at the Fergal O'Mahony Foundation concert in Covent Garden, London. At the RNCM graduate school Misha was a keen classical pianist playing solo repertoire, chamber music and accompaniment. He was fortunate to participate in Masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists such as Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Stephen Hough and Steven Osbourne. During Misha's time studying at the RNCM, he was the recipient of the 'Shirley Cattarall Award for Piano’. Misha also has an affinity for Jazz and Improvisation and has performed with the RNCM Big Band on numerous occasions with celebrated guests such as Eric Marienthal. Through his interest in jazz style repertoire Misha was also fortunate to perform the works of Errollyn Wallen at the Wigmore Hall, London. As a teacher, Misha is very versatile and keen to find the right approach for every individual student. Misha aims to create a learning environment that is safe, fun and engaging, helping students develop and achieve their goals!

Sam graduated from the RNCM with a 1st class degree in saxophone, and now works as a freelance saxophonist playing regularly with jazz, pop and classical outfits across the country.
He is a reserve in the RAF, and recently played concerts with all three bands within the RAF Music Services. He also plays with big bands up and down the country, recently winning best soloist at the Great Northern Jazz festival on clarinet with Manager's Big Band.
Sam has played with various jazz/pop groups, including having worked with Paul Pashley, ex contestant of the voice. His jazz quartet and duo have been very busy, playing at venues across Manchester and performing some of his original music.

Amy is a Manchester based singer and tutor. She performs as part of a band called Calico who write their own neo-soul, folky pop music.
After her studies at Leeds Conservatoire and the RNCM, Amy now teaches on a freelance basis which enables her to share her love of music with others. Her lessons are full of great tips on performance, vocal qualities, harmony, projection and even stagecraft and artistry.”

Sophie Ahmed is a Pianist, Keyboardist and Singer/Songwriter from Stockport. She graduated from The University of Chester in 2014 with a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Performance and since then has gained valuable experience as a music teacher and performer. She has taught mainly classical and popular music styles and has experience teaching in one-to-one settings as well as early years and group music classes. She regularly gigs in a Soul/Motown function band across the UK and writes her own material which she performs across Manchester.

Katie is a passionate musician with extensive experience in both music, performance, and teaching. Studying music at the University of Manchester, Katie was classically and operatically trained with RNCM tutor Andrew Heggie. She was fortunate enough to be involved in many of the university’s operas, including starring as the protagonist in Judith Weir’s Armida, and performing as the Mezzo soloist in Elgar’s ‘Sea Pictures’ with the University’s symphony orchestra. She also sang as one of the lead singers in the University’s Jazz Orchestra MUJO, and enjoys a variety of musical styles from pop to jazz, to musical theatre, to classical, to folk, to wider world genres such as Gamelan, Klezmer as well as various Latin American styles, and can teach whatever a student desires! More currently, she is involved in two groups including the Deep Blue (an Indie-Folk girl band with whom she both sings and plays piano: they have recently finished their debut UK tour performing in venues such as the Deaf Institute and the Camden Assembly Rooms and have performed at festivals including Truck, Y Not, Greenman and All Points East), and the Apex Singers (an 8-part acapella folk group who have recently recorded their second album; Stravaig, and have performed in both Scotland and Ireland on small tours). As an active participant in the Manchester music scene, she hopes to inspire the students she works with and allow them to understand the importance and benefits of music-making! She is very experienced in working with students in both 1:1 and small group settings. She is a fun, patient, and adaptable teacher, and is excited to engage them in a subject that she has dedicated most of her life to.

Grace Harman is a musician originally from Suffolk, currently studying trumpet at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, under the tuition of Gareth Small, Murray Grieg and Thomas Osborne.
She is a regular freelancer, performing in orchestras, pit bands, brass bands, and big bands, as well as conducting and leading ensembles, and has performed at renowned arts venues such as Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Latitude Music Festival. Grace is also Trustee for Suffolk charity SMART, who aims to provide funding to young people interested in music and the arts. She attends meetings, organises fundraisers, as well as leading performances to promote the charity. At the RNCM, Grace is a member of Engage Brass, which involves forming mentoring relationships with local youth bands, school lessons and learning from the country's best brass tutors.
As well as a trumpeter, Grace is an avid pianist and private music teacher. As a pianist, she has accompanied solo instrumentalists, and dance classes and shows. Grace is also a frequent presenter, and had her own radio show, Homeward Harmonies, on IO Radio between 2020-21, as well as often being interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk. She recently took her presenting to a national audience, presenting the Music for Youth National Festival, held at Birmingham’s prestigious Symphony Hall in July 2022.
Grace’s long-term aim is to be a professional musician, mentor, and teacher.

Thomas is a passionate Pianist, Bass Guitarist and Composer from Hebden Bridge.
He graduated in 2023 from Newcastle University with a first-class degree in Popular
and Contemporary music. Whilst studying, a key interest of Thomas was exploring
the unique sounds that the piano can make using extended techniques and less
conventional ways of playing the instrument. For his final composition project, he
used these techniques to create a collection of works for prepared piano. Since
graduating, Thomas has developed his skills as a performer, composer and teacher
through his work in various primary schools, music schools and his own independent
teaching. At the moment he is working towards the ARSM diploma, which he hopes
to complete sometime next year, and has started researching Baroque composition
techniques to see how he can use them to make contemporary music. Thomas’
philosophy to teaching has always been to teach pupils music they want to learn in a
way which is fun and engaging regardless of their age.

Matthew is an engaging and energetic Drummer and Drum tutor, after graduating from Leeds college of music university in 2018 he moved to Manchester and now works full time as an active session drummer that regularly gigs around the country playing in Renowned festivals and Live music venue's.
One to one lessons - Matthew has been teaching Drums for more than years and enjoys sharing his passion for music, he teaches grades 1-8 drums, how to play all genre's of the instrument and also higher level drums.
